Problem
The Last Mile delivery market is growing, fast. As deliveries increase, city air quality is being destroyed.
Combustion delivery vehicles (diesel & petrol) have long-range and carry heavy payloads but cause air pollution, harming the environment and our health.
Battery Electric vehicles emit no pollution, whilst operating, but are expensive to buy & produce, and rely on large quantities of Lithium and Cobalt, over half of which comes from conflict zones. They also take a long time to charge.
Bicycles are great for small single delivery missions but struggle with bulky and heavier loads.
Solution
A vehicle that can carry bulky and mid-size payloads whilst emitting no harmful emissions contains no rare earth metals, is optimised for urban delivery, low cost, reliable and completely recyclable.
ATVL/ZEAP is a new company producing this purpose-built delivery vehicle for cities.
Powered purely by air, it is the only delivery vehicle that actually cleans the air whilst operating.
What Is ZEAP:
Zero Emission Air Power, and when we say zero emission we mean it; well except clean breathable air.
Being propelled by compressed air using onboard receivers filled with filtered air, the vehicle’s ‘emissions’ will be cleaner than the surrounding inner-city environment and will actually “clean” the air as it operates.
How It Works:
‘Hub-and-spoke’ delivery depots will sit outside major cities where fleets of ZEAP vehicles will be loaded with goods before heading into the city to complete the ‘last-mile-delivery’.
The vehicles will be recharged at the depots in-between payload pick-up cycles using rapid recharge air receiver modules which are refilled with compressed air using cheap and renewable energy collected by wind turbines and solar panels.
This 100% green energy powers the air receiver module compressor.
Once re-loaded and re-charged, the vehicles then return into the city, emitting only clean air displacing and diluting the polluted air.
